Description
A brightening serum that works with your skin, not against it
Uneven tone rarely appears overnight, and it rarely disappears overnight either. Sun exposure, old breakout marks, hormonal changes and everyday pollution all leave their traces, and most of us end up with patches that sit a shade or two darker than the rest of the face. Bright Skin Serum is built for exactly that — a daily step that gradually softens the look of those marks while keeping the skin well hydrated and calm along the way.
The formula is deliberately gentle. Rather than relying on a single aggressive brightening agent, it layers four well-studied ingredients that complement each other, so you get a visible difference without the irritation, tightness or peeling that harsher options often bring.
What’s inside, and why
Alpha Arbutin
The core brightening ingredient. Alpha Arbutin is a gentler, naturally derived alternative to hydroquinone that works on the appearance of excess pigment where it forms, helping existing dark spots fade from view and new ones look less pronounced. It’s known for being well tolerated, which is why it suits sensitive skin far better than most brightening actives.
Niacinamide
A form of vitamin B3 that pulls double duty here. It helps even out the look of tone and works alongside Alpha Arbutin on discolouration, while also supporting the skin’s own barrier, refining the appearance of pores and helping regulate how oily or shiny the skin looks by midday.
Hyaluronic Acid
Hydration that stays put. Hyaluronic Acid holds many times its own weight in water and draws moisture into the upper layers of the skin, which is what gives that plumper, smoother finish. Well-hydrated skin also simply reflects light better, so tone reads more even long before the spots themselves have faded.
Dexpanthenol (Pro-Vitamin B5)
The soothing element. Dexpanthenol helps skin feel calm and comfortable, softens rough patches, and keeps the overall formula friendly enough for daily use even when your skin is having a reactive week.
How to use it
Cleanse and pat your face dry, then apply three to four drops to your face and neck while the skin is still slightly damp. Press it in gently with your fingertips rather than rubbing, give it thirty seconds or so to absorb, and follow with your moisturiser.
You can use it morning and evening. If you’re using it during the day — and we’d recommend you do, since it’s light enough to layer under anything — always finish with sunscreen. Sun exposure is the single biggest reason dark spots return, so skipping SPF will undo the work faster than anything else. If your skin is new to brightening products, start once daily for the first week and build up from there.
What to expect, week by week
In the first week or two, the most noticeable change is hydration — skin feels softer, looks less dull, and makeup tends to sit better. Around weeks three and four, tone starts to look more even and the darker patches begin to lose their sharpness. By weeks eight to twelve, with consistent daily use, most people see the clearest difference in stubborn spots and overall clarity.
We’d rather be straight with you: this is a cosmetic formula, and results depend on how deep the pigmentation is, how consistently you use it, and how well you protect your skin from the sun. Some marks fade considerably, others soften without vanishing entirely. Consistency does more here than any single product ever could.
Who it’s for
It’s made for all skin types, including oily, dry, combination and sensitive. If you’re dealing with sun spots, post-breakout marks, patchy tone or general dullness, this is the serum to reach for. The texture is light and non-greasy, so oily skin won’t feel weighed down, and the Hyaluronic Acid and Dexpanthenol give dry skin enough comfort to go without a heavy layer on top.
If you’re pregnant, breastfeeding, or already using prescription products on your skin, have a word with your doctor before adding anything new to your routine. And as with any serum, patch test on your inner arm for 24 hours the first time.

Common questions
Can I use it with my Vitamin C or Retinol serum?
Yes, though we’d suggest spacing them out. Vitamin C in the morning and Bright Skin Serum in the evening works well, or alternate nights if you’re also using retinol. Layering several actives at once is where irritation usually creeps in.
Will it lighten my natural skin colour?
No. It works on the appearance of uneven patches and dark spots, bringing them closer to your natural tone rather than changing that tone itself.
Is it safe for sensitive skin?
Alpha Arbutin is one of the gentler brightening ingredients available, and the Dexpanthenol and Hyaluronic Acid keep the formula comfortable. Patch test first, and start with once-daily use if your skin tends to react.
How long will one bottle last?
Around six to eight weeks with twice-daily use, or roughly three months if you use it once a day.
