The morning step that makes the rest of your routine work harder
Most skincare is corrective. It works on damage that has already happened. Vitamin C is one of the few steps that does the opposite: it is an antioxidant, so its main job in the morning is defending your skin against the daily pollution and UV exposure that causes dullness and dark spots in the first place.
Nutradite Vitamin C Face Serum pairs that antioxidant with Vitamin E, which works alongside it, and Hyaluronic Acid, which keeps skin hydrated so the brightening never comes at the cost of comfort. It is a 30 ml serum, light enough to sit under sunscreen without pilling, and it absorbs in seconds.
What is inside, and why
Three actives, each supporting the others.
The antioxidant
Vitamin CThe reason this is a morning serum. Vitamin C helps defend skin against the environmental stress that leaves it looking dull and uneven, and over time it works on the appearance of dark spots and helps skin look firmer and brighter.
The partner antioxidant
Vitamin EVitamin C and Vitamin E are more effective together than either is alone, which is why good formulas pair them. Vitamin E also conditions the skin, so the serum feels comfortable rather than stripping.
Hydration
Hyaluronic AcidHolds many times its own weight in water and draws moisture into the upper layers of the skin. That is what softens the look of fine lines and gives the plumper finish. Well-hydrated skin also reflects light better, so it reads brighter almost immediately.
How to use it
Mornings, on clean dry skin. Three to four drops to face and neck, pressed in gently. Wait thirty seconds, then moisturiser.
Sunscreen after, every time. This is not a general precaution, it is the point. Vitamin C and SPF work in the same direction, and the UV exposure you block is the same exposure that causes the dark spots you are treating.
You can use it in the evening too, though mornings get you the most out of it. If your skin is new to Vitamin C, start every other day for the first two weeks and build up. A brief tingle on application is common and settles as your skin adjusts. If it stings or stays red, stop and let your skin recover before trying again less often.
What to expect, week by week
The glow arrives quickly. The dark spots take considerably longer, and anyone promising otherwise is selling you something.
Week 1
Brightness and hydrationSkin looks less tired and feels softer within days. This is mostly the Hyaluronic Acid, and it is real, but it is not the same thing as pigment fading.
Weeks 4 to 6
Tone starts to evenOverall complexion reads clearer and more uniform. Individual dark spots have usually not moved much yet, but the skin around them has evened out.
Weeks 8 to 12
Dark spots softenWith daily use and consistent sunscreen, existing marks begin to lose their sharpness. This is the slow part, and it is where most people who quit at week three miss out.
Being straight with you
This is a cosmetic serum. It works on the appearance of tone, brightness and dark spots. How much difference you see depends on how deep the pigmentation is, how consistently you use it, and above all how well you protect your skin from the sun. Without daily SPF, new pigment forms roughly as fast as this fades the old.
Looking after the bottle
Vitamin C reacts with light, air and heat. That is not a fault in the formula, it is the nature of the ingredient, and it is worth knowing so you can get the most out of the bottle.
Keep the cap closed, store it somewhere cool and out of direct sunlight, and use it within three months of opening. A slight deepening in colour over time is normal. If it turns distinctly dark orange or brown, the Vitamin C has oxidised and it is time for a fresh bottle.
Who it is for
All skin types. If you are dealing with dullness, uneven tone, sun spots or skin that just looks tired, this is the morning serum to reach for. The texture is light and non-greasy, so oily skin will not feel weighed down, and the Hyaluronic Acid gives dry skin enough comfort on its own.
Very reactive skin should start every other day. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, Vitamin C is generally considered fine, but check with your doctor before adding anything new. Patch test on your inner arm for 24 hours the first time.

Common questions
Morning or night?
Morning, for preference. Vitamin C is an antioxidant, so it does its most useful work defending skin through the day, and it pairs with sunscreen rather than competing with it. Evening use is fine, it is just less of the point.
Can I use it with your Retinol Serum?
Yes, and they suit each other well. Vitamin C in the morning, retinol in the evening. Do not layer them in the same routine, which is where irritation usually starts.
Can I use it with the Bright Skin Serum?
Yes. Vitamin C in the morning and Bright Skin Serum in the evening covers tone from both directions. If your skin is sensitive, alternate rather than doubling up straight away.
The serum has gone darker. Is it still usable?
A slight deepening in colour is normal as Vitamin C ages, and the serum is still fine. If it has turned distinctly dark orange or brown, it has oxidised and lost most of its potency. Replace it, and store the next one out of sunlight with the cap closed.
Will it sting?
A brief tingle on application is common with Vitamin C, particularly in the first fortnight, and it settles. Actual stinging, burning or lasting redness is not normal. Stop, let your skin recover, and restart every third day.
How long will one bottle last?
Around three months with daily morning use, which lines up with how long the Vitamin C stays at full strength once opened.
How do I pay, and how long does delivery take?
Orders arrive within four to seven days. You can pay Cash on Delivery, so there is no need to enter card details anywhere, and bank or account transfer is available if you prefer. Ordering from outside the country? Get in touch and we will arrange it directly.
